Marcyline writes songs that feel close-up and unguarded. It's built on soft edges, careful phrasing, and the kind of quiet that pulls you in rather than fades out. There’s a subtle tension running through it all, where even the gentlest moments carry a little weight.
Based in New York City, the project pulls from indie rock and slowcore without settling too firmly in either. The 2023 release Treegiver set the tone with hazy, introspective world-building, while newer tracks like “The Blade” feel a touch more defined. Leaner in structure, but still grounded in restraint.
