About The Event
Katy Needs A Life and Dormouse Noise Society present another round of Punk Rock Lottery, where Kalamazoo musicians leave their bandmates up to chance!
December 1: Band Drawing at The Sugar Bowl
January 30: Live Competition at Dormouse Theatre
Singers, guitarists, bassists, and drummers will be randomly assigned to brand-new bands at the December 1 drawing at The Sugar Bowl. From there, each group has until January 30 to write five original songs and learn one cover before taking the stage at Dormouse Theatre to compete for prizes for first, second, and last place.
Want to participate? All you need is your own equipment, reliable transportation, and the ability to attend both the drawing and the final performance. All skill levels are welcome!
