Night of the Living Dead screening with live score by Disco Behemoth (1)

When George A. Romero released Night of the Living Dead in 1968, the film's limited budget left little room for an original musical score. Instead, its soundtrack was assembled from pre-existing recordings, many of which had already appeared in other films and television programs. These pieces were carefully selected, edited, and enhanced with electronic effects to create the film's unmistakable atmosphere of dread. Since its release, musicians and composers have continued to reimagine the film through original scores and live musical accompaniment, breathing new life into this groundbreaking horror classic.
