Improv Origins, a workshop with Bobby Philips

Improvisational theater as we know it originates with a group of women educating children in communicative skills. Whether you enjoy performing improv, or have always wanted to try, this workshop in our improvisational ancestry will put you in touch with the performer within. We will be slowing down, making eye contact, rooting ourselves in the reality of the scene, and tapping into our truly felt emotions in exercises, games, and scenes.
