Face Off Theatre Company is proud to present Yellowman by Dael Orlandersmith, the first play in their 2022 season, "Intersect." This award-winning play explores themes of colorism and generational trauma through the life stories of darker-skinned Alma and lighter-skinned Eugene as they navigate their individual struggles while their friendship eventually blossoms into a relationship. Please be advised the script centers on discussion of colorism, and includes heavy discussion of alcoholism, domestic violence, fatphobia, and misogyny. Runtime is approximately 70 minutes with no intermission. There will be a community talkback after every show, facilitated by a community member and/or Face Off Theatre Company member.
